THANK YOU MOTHERS
May 7, 2011
I have observed mothers from humans to animals and I have concluded to share my observation with you, my friends: particularly today a day dedicated to all mothers. In one YouTube clip I saw a mother wild beast fight wild dogs who wanted to eat her baby. I applaud this animal for fighting bravely to save her baby and she worn. In another clip lions attacked a herd of buffaloes and one calf was caught by a lioness. All others ran for their lives but the mother buffalo fought the lioness and saved her baby bearing in mind that she could also be killed by the lion. This is happening in the animal kingdom.
My mother fought many battles to safe my life. First she carried me for nine months in he womb. Just imagine that extra weight day and night. The fiercest battle was the day she brought me into this world. If she could have relaxed for a second I could have died at birth. But my mother was a brave woman.
Life is hard without a mother. I thank God I had one, and spent so many years of precious time with my mother. And even though she was called to Heaven at eighty two, I still dream of having more time with her. I recall many instructions she gave me. She made me who I am.
Mothers are brave. They are full of courage, determination, strength, tolerance, patience, and love. Mothers love their children with all their hearts. They cherish their children above and beyond their very own existence. Mothers do not eat unless their children have eaten first. Mothers carry their babies on their backs, in their arms, on their shoulders, and always near their hearts.
Mothers do everything. They wash clothes, they wash babies, they change diapers, they cook, they clean, they scrub floors, they make pottery, they weave, they crochet, they pay bills, and they often run and manage homes to help husbands in the art of raising families.
Today lets us thank God for our mothers.
